Frequently asked questions
Where do you pick up and deliver?
We currently serve Christ Church and St. Philip, and pickup and delivery to your door are included in the price.
How does it work?
You book online and choose a pickup time. We collect from your door, wash, dry, and fold your laundry, then deliver it back fresh. Pickup and delivery are included.
How much does it cost?
Wash, dry & fold is $4.50 per pound with a 10-pound minimum, and delivery is included. School uniform pressing and next-day express are priced separately. Rug cleaning is coming soon.
How long does it take?
Standard turnaround is 48 hours. Need it sooner? Book express on a Sunday or Wednesday, up to 30 pounds, for an extra $20 and it comes back the next day.
Which days do you pick up and deliver?
We collect on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, and deliver on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, so your laundry is back 48 hours after we collect it. Express is different: it is collected on Sundays and Wednesdays and comes back the next day. The booking calendar only lets you pick days we actually run.
Can I choose the detergent?
Yes. Pick Classic wash for our regular detergents, Sensitive Care for no dyes or coloured detergents, or Natural for plant-based ones. Classic wash is included in the per-pound price; Sensitive Care and Natural cost a little more and we confirm the price with you before we wash. You can also say whether you want fabric softener, and whether to dry with dryer sheets or wool balls, at no extra charge either way.
How will I know when my laundry is coming back?
We message you when your laundry is out for delivery, and again once it has arrived.
How do I get my first-order discount?
New customers get $5 off the first order. Add code MR. LAUNDRO in your booking notes and we will apply it.
Do you press school uniforms?
Yes. Ask about our school uniform special: a set of five pressed for one low price.
How do I pay?
We confirm your total when we weigh your laundry, and share the accepted payment options when we contact you. There is nothing to pay when you submit a request.
What about delicate or special-care items?
Add a note to your booking about anything that needs special care, and we will handle it accordingly or check with you first.
What if I am not home at pickup?
Let us know in your booking notes. We can arrange a safe spot for collection and delivery, or reschedule to a time that suits you.
How do I change or cancel a booking?
Just reply to our confirmation message or call us. As long as we have not collected yet, changes and cancellations are no problem.
